A tactical field manual to identifying, engaging, and obliterating the deadliest champions of the Ruinous Powers. Equip your holy arsenal, never stop moving, and prepare to bring the Emperor’s light to the darkest corners of Graia.

The Helbrute

The Lore: To see a Helbrute is to witness a tragedy of the Adeptus Astartes twisted into a living nightmare. Originally noble Dreadnoughts—walking sarcophagi that house mortally wounded Space Marine heroes—these machines have been corrupted by the Warp. Chaos Space Marines do not revere their Dreadnoughts; they torture the occupants, fusing mutated flesh with tainted ceramite. The pilot inside is driven completely insane by perpetual agony, unleashing a furious, mindless rage upon the battlefield.

Mechanics and Attacks: The Helbrute is an aggressive, heavily armored bruiser. It will relentlessly try to close the distance to crush you with its massive power scourge or thunder hammer. At range, it fires devastating plasma blasts and heavy bolter rounds that can strip your Contempt (armor) in seconds. It also possesses a devastating charging attack that can easily corner a careless player.

Best Weapons: * Meltagun: The ultimate anti-armor weapon. It will melt through the Helbrute's thick plating in a few close-range blasts.

  • Plasma Gun: Excellent for dealing heavy damage while maintaining a medium distance.
  • Krak Grenades: Throw these as you retreat to deal chunk damage to its massive health pool.

Strategy: Do not get caught in a tight corridor. You must treat the Helbrute like a bull in a ring; kite it in wide circles around the arena. Use pillars and vertical elevation to break line of sight when it charges up its plasma cannon. If it initiates a melee charge, use your Chainsword dash on a lesser enemy to quickly grapple away and reposition. Chip away at its armor with your heavy hitters and never stay still.

The Exalted Sorcerer

The Lore: Devoted to Tzeentch, the Architect of Fate, Exalted Sorcerers are masters of the Warp. These Chaos Space Marines have traded their martial prowess for forbidden psychic arts. They float above the battlefield, arrogant and untouchable, manipulating the very fabric of reality to break the minds and bodies of the Emperor's loyal servants.

Mechanics and Attacks: Mobility and misdirection are the Sorcerer's primary weapons. He will frequently teleport around the arena, making him extremely difficult to pin down. While airborne, he rains down volleys of homing psychic projectiles and area-of-effect spells that leave damaging zones on the floor. He will also constantly summon lesser daemons, like Pink Horrors, to distract you.

Best Weapons: * Heavy Bolter: The high rate of fire is perfect for tracking him through the air and interrupting his spellcasting.

  • Vengeance Launcher: You can stick explosive charges to him and detonate them right after he teleports.
  • Machine Spirit Boltgun: Upgraded standard fire is surprisingly effective at maintaining sustained DPS.

Strategy: Situational awareness is key. The moment he teleports, you must locate him and resume your barrage before he can cast his heavier spells. Do not run in straight lines; strafe constantly to avoid the homing magic. When the arena gets crowded, use your Chainsword to harvest the summoned lesser daemons for health and armor, then immediately turn your sights back to the Sorcerer. Break his shield with sustained fire and he will fall quickly.

Great Unclean One

The Lore: A Greater Daemon of Nurgle, the Plague God. Do not be fooled by their jovial, booming laughter; these colossal, rotting behemoths are walking epicenters of disease. They are made of necrotic flesh, bursting pustules, and exposed intestines. To stand near a Great Unclean One is to invite countless warp-born plagues into your lungs. They embody the horrific cycle of decay and rebirth.

Mechanics and Attacks: This boss is an absolute sponge for damage. It moves slowly but covers massive areas with its attacks. It wields a gargantuan Plague Sword that can cleave half an arena, and it regularly vomits wide streams of toxic bile that remain on the ground, severely restricting your movement. It will also continuously vomit forth swarms of Nurglings and Plague Toads.

Best Weapons: * Grav-Cannon: Crushes the daemon under its own immense gravity, dealing massive continuous damage.

  • Volkite Caliver: The thermal ray will sear right through its massive, fleshy hitbox.
  • Plasma Gun (Overcharged): Highly effective for chunking down its colossal health bar from a safe distance.

Strategy: Distance is your only saving grace. Treat the floor as lava; the acid pools will melt your armor instantly. The Great Unclean One’s massive hitbox makes it an easy target, so you can fire blindly in its direction while focusing on your footwork. The real trick here is resource management: the daemon will summon dozens of Nurglings. Instead of seeing them as a threat, treat them as walking medkits. Chainsaw them to keep your Contempt and Health topped up while you empty your heavy weaponry into the Greater Daemon.

Lord of Change

The Lore: The ultimate manifestation of Tzeentch’s will. A Lord of Change is a Greater Daemon of magic, a towering, avian monstrosity that sees the past, present, and future simultaneously. They do not fight with brute strength; they fight by unraveling the laws of physics. To face one is to fight a god of trickery, where the air itself turns into crystalline shards of pure, hostile psychic energy.

Mechanics and Attacks: This is arguably the most frantic fight in the game. The Lord of Change has absurd aerial mobility and will flood the screen with blinding, high-damage projectile barrages. It fires fast-moving psychic spears, creates massive explosive runes on the ground, and teleports even faster than the Exalted Sorcerer. It commands the arena, forcing you to play at its frantic pace.

Best Weapons: * Volkite Caliver: Its pinpoint accuracy and beam nature make it the best tool for hitting a fast-moving, flying target.

  • Grav-Cannon: If you can catch the daemon in its area of effect, it will shred its magical shielding.
  • Meltagun: Only if you manage to close the gap after it teleports, use it for a devastating burst of damage before retreating.

Strategy: Verticality and cover are mandatory. You must utilize every jump pad, catwalk, and pillar in the arena. Break line of sight whenever it charges its massive projectile swarms, then pop out to return fire. You cannot out-damage a Lord of Change in a war of attrition; you must strike hard, use the environment to block its spells, and immediately relocate. Keep your finger glued to the sprint button.

A Message from the Emperor

Hear me, Malum Caedo, blade of Ultramar. The horrors of the Warp seek to claim Graia, but they have forgotten the fury of the Adeptus Astartes. You are the hammer that strikes the anvil of heresy. Let your Bolter roar with the righteous anger of humanity. Trust in your armor, trust in your weapons, and above all, trust in your faith. Suffer not the mutant, the heretic, the alien. Go forth, my Angel of Death, and leave nothing but ashes in your wake. The Emperor Protects.
